Active Parenting Series – Parenting Children

Active Parenting is a six-part series of interactive parenting classes combining videos and facilitated discussion that addresses the major issues facing today's families. The class was developed for adult parents who want new insight into parenting today's kids. We offer three different classes.

    Topic/Objectives:

  • Registration Fees:

    Course book, instruction, additional class materials, and certificate of completion.

  • $40 per person

  • $65 per couple

  • Couple registrations receives one course book. Additional books are $15.00 each.
  • Intended Audience:

    Parents and caregivers of children ages 5-12 are welcome to attend our Active Parenting Classes.

    Inclement Weather:

    We follow the Columbus Public Schools policy for weather closure. If a program is canceled due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled for another evening.

    Parking:

    Parking is available in the visitor's garage near the Education Center. Parking fee is 1 token. Tokens are available in the machine in the education lobby or the garage for $2 each.

    Child Care:

    We are sorry but we are unable to provide childcare for this program.

    Confirmation/Cancellations:

    A confirmation letter with directions to the class will be sent to all participants registered two weeks before the program. After that time, no confirmation will be sent.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations must be received two weeks prior to the class. At that time, refunds will be made minus 30% for administrative costs. No refunds will be given after that time.
