Our program is a two-way communication channel, and one additional way Children's strives to better serve physicians, their office staff and patients. Through personal office visits, written correspondence, telephone calls, faxes and email, Children's liaisons provide a critical connection to Children's Hospital.

Christina has been working with physicians in the central Ohio area for more than five years as a liaison at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Before joining Children's, Christina resided in Ohio and worked as a regional marketing coordinator in the long term care field, providing marketing support to assisted living facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and New Jersey. She has more than ten years of experience in health care and marketing. Christina is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

Tracie joined the liaison team at Nationwide Children's in December 2006. She has been working in the health care field for more than ten years. Tracie started out serving in the United States Navy as a Navy Corpsman at Bremerton Naval Hospital in the ICU/CCU and then as the supervisor for their Women's Wellness Clinic. Following her term in the service, she worked as a medical assistant providing patient care at an Internal Medicine practice in Columbus, Ohio. Tracie graduated from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business in 2006 with a degree in Marketing.

She has over 14 years of relationship development, sales and service experience in the pharmaceutical industry, covering several states. Susan is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a major in Business Management.

She has been working with physicians in central Ohio and the surrounding areas for more than 12 years as a sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry. Melissa is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing.

Tips on Completing the Referral Form
Please complete the referral as completely as possible:
Give as much information as possible regarding the patient's history and/or problem
We may ask you to send or fax the lab and/or x-ray reports
Based on the information provided, staff will:
All of the information on the form helps the staff contact the appropriate people so that we can provide communicate with the patient, family, and referring physicians to provide continuity of care.
If a referral and/or authorization is needed, it is the responsibility of the referring physician's office.
If the clinic has not received this information 2-3 days prior to the appointment, the program staff will be contacting your office to obtain this information.
If this is an urgent/emergent referral, please contact the program directly.
